Spectators: 7206 (Terracing: 5406, Seating: 1657, VIP seats: 143) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jailson Mangueira got the match started through his kick off. Joel Lopes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jailson Mangueira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jailson Mangueira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luís Guilherme Nunes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jean Monteiro in the 12th minute of the match. Ihum's Joel Lopes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oswaldo Sanches in the 14th minute of play. Oswaldo Sanches blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Joel Lopes having to make a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dário Hoffmann during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Dário Hoffmann hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. After 20th play minutes Jailson Mangueira shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Joel Lopes and just under the crossbar into goal. If Oswaldo Sanches had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marco Galvão kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Oswaldo Sanches scored 0-2 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Joel Lopes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Fábio Sabóia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 36 minutes, Jailson Mangueira made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Ihum's Joel Lopes tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 42 minutes into the match, Ihum's goal looked a bit too open when Oswaldo Sanches came free, but Joel Lopes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 45 minutes of play, Giovana F.C.'s Oswaldo Sanches made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joel Lopes was left in no man's land by his defense there!

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jean Monteiro made a kick off. Vânderson Barral's late challenge caught a Ihum's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vânderson Barral helped the player get up and apologised. In the 52nd match minute, Giovana F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vânderson Barral to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Giovana F.C.'s Rodrigo Rocha got a free kick in the 58th minute. After having played for 62 minutes, Fábio Sabóia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ihum's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fábio Sabóia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Oswaldo Sanches fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joel Lopes having to interfere. Jailson Mangueira received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Joel Lopes came out and tried to block the shot, but Jailson Mangueira slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 69th minute. Giovana F.C.'s Luís Guilherme Nunes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jean Monteiro in the 73rd minute of play. Oswaldo Sanches fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joel Lopes having to interfere. Joel Lopes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jailson Mangueira went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. If Oswaldo Sanches had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zeca Queirós during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Zeca Queirós kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. After 93 played minutes, Giovana F.C.'s Enrique da Rocha shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Joel Lopes came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Giovana F.C. reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jailson Mangueira in the 96th minute of play forced Ihum's goalkeeper Joel Lopes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Ihum fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Giovana F.C. were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
