Evandro Guerra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Toninho Bastos came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the União Bandeirante F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Toninho Bastos couldn't finish the play. A very good chance. A collision led to União Bandeirante F.C. getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Geovânio Cavalcante hit a great ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. FC Torino fully deserved thier win.
