With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jano Soares in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joel Lopes saved Ihum from getting behind. Joel Lopes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jano Soares in the 10th minute of play. Joel Lopes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jano Soares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Flamengo MZC's Jano Soares in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ihum's goalie prevented a goal. In the 17th minute, Mateus Velloso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jano Soares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joel Lopes having to interfere. In the 23rd minute Jano Soares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joel Lopes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joel Lopes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jano Soares in the 24th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Mateus Velloso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Flamengo MZC's supporters rose to their feet, but Mateus Velloso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joel Lopes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 30 minutes into the match, Ihum's goal looked a bit too open when Jano Soares came free, but Joel Lopes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Haroldo de Almeida hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Joel Lopes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jano Soares in the 39th minute of the match. In the 40th match minute, Ihum was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dário Hoffmann to maneuver through the defense. Joel Lopes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jano Soares's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. The Ihum players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Flamengo MZC were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jano Soares stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Fábio Sabóia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jean Monteiro in the 54th minute of play forced Flamengo MZC's goalkeeper Pacorro Abalos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jano Soares got free with Joel Lopes in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 65 played minutes Ihum got a freekick which was hit by Marco Galvão. In the 67th minute, Jano Soares ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joel Lopes was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. A collision led to Ihum getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Breno Ceresso hit a great ball. Edgard Castro kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Jano Soares's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 75thth minute, Joel Lopes skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Haroldo de Almeida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Jano Soares managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ihum's Joel Lopes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jano Soares in the 86th minute of play. The supporters of Flamengo MZC booed when Ihum was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dário Hoffmann didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Flamengo MZC's Jano Soares in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When the final whistle sounded Flamengo MZC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Ihum.
