Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) After a rather tough play, Águia Branca FC's Jarbas de Queiroz got a free kick in the 3rd minute. After 5 played minutes Flamengo MZC got a freekick which was hit by Edgard Castro. In the 6th minute, Zé Paulo Sabóia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zé Paulo Sabóia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Pacorro Abalos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 11th minute Jano Soares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Novaes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Flamengo MZC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 13th minute, when Jarbas de Queiroz scored to the left of an out of position Pacorro Abalos, making the score, 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Pedro Luís França managed to get in a good position for a shot. Águia Branca FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Pedro Luís França was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pacorro Abalos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pacorro Abalos didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 22nd minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. With a little luck, Flamengo MZC's Pacorro Abalos got control of the ball when Zé Paulo Sabóia tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 26th match minute, Flamengo MZC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Doriva Bastos to maneuver through the defense. In the 30th match minute, Águia Branca FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benjamim de Lara to maneuver through the defense. Pedro Luís França sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 38th play minutes Jano Soares shot 2-1, a short shot which went by José Novaes and just under the crossbar into goal. Jarbas de Queiroz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Flamengo MZC's Pacorro Abalos got control of the ball when Zé Paulo Sabóia tried to sneak it across the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jarbas de Queiroz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Pacorro Abalos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jarbas de Queiroz in the 52nd minute of play. Zé Paulo Sabóia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zé Paulo Sabóia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Pacorro Abalos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zé Paulo Sabóia in the 61st minute of play forced Flamengo MZC's goalkeeper Pacorro Abalos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 64th minute Jarbas de Queiroz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pacorro Abalos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Jano Soares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Águia Branca FC's Jarbas de Queiroz in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Flamengo MZC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 72nd minute, Doriva Bastos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 73 minutes, Jarbas de Queiroz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Águia Branca FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jarbas de Queiroz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pacorro Abalos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jarbas de Queiroz in the 75th minute of play. After 79 played minutes Águia Branca FC got a freekick which was hit by Célio Cerezo. Doriva Bastos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. José Novaes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 84 played minutes Águia Branca FC got a freekick which was hit by Jarbas de Queiroz. José Novaes made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Caetano Senna sent off a good shot on target. With his leg José Novaes managed to avoid a goal in the 87thth minute, when Flamengo MZC's Jano Soares fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Zé Paulo Sabóia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pacorro Abalos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. When Jarbas de Queiroz came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Águia Branca FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jarbas de Queiroz couldn't finish the play.
