Audax Paulista's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sipeva EC the free kick. 4 minutes into the match, Audax Paulista's goal looked a bit too open when Jefferson Vander came free, but Thomás Sarmento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 9 minutes into the game, Samuel Paranaense cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Thomás Sarmento was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thomás Sarmento showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredo de Carvalho in the 17th minute of the match. Audax Paulista's Lúcio Eger managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Flavinho Amorim in the 20 minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Richard Barral took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Joel Saraiva to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jefferson Vander in the 25th minute of play forced Audax Paulista's goalkeeper Thomás Sarmento to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Richard Barral struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Joel Saraiva didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Audax Paulista. Audax Paulista's Thomás Sarmento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jefferson Vander in the 33rd minute of play. Joel Saraiva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Richard Barral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thomás Sarmento made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samuel Paranaense in the 36th minute of play. The Audax Paulista players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Sipeva EC were winning 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jefferson Vander to strike the kick off in the second half. Lúcio Eger recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anselmo Castro hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. A collision led to Sipeva EC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Alfredo de Carvalho hit a great ball. During the 58th minute of the match Sílvio Luiz Paraense completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Sílvio Luiz Paraense a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Audax Paulista getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Rodrigo Vasconcelos hit a great ball. Thomás Sarmento made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Flavinho Amorim sent off a good shot on target. In the 68th minute, Erasmo Estevon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Audax Paulista fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Luís Fabiano Fernandes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Jefferson Vander kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Thomás Sarmento. That made the score 2-3 in the 72 minute of play. Thomás Sarmento took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfredo de Carvalho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thomás Sarmento made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samuel Paranaense in the 79th minute of play. In the 81st minute, one of Sipeva EC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Sipeva EC. The referee gave Audax Paulista a penalty, 83 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Hélio Penha, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Sipeva EC's Joel Saraiva. 3-3. Erasmo Estevon hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Joel Saraiva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodrigo Vasconcelos in the 91st minute of the match. In the 92nd minute, Samuel Paranaense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Audax Paulista's Thomás Sarmento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jefferson Vander in the 95th minute of play. Audax Paulista were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
