Spectators: 7292 (Terracing: 5471, Seating: 1677, VIP seats: 144) Irundi EC's Fabrício de Castro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oscar Nunes in the 6th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nelson Amorim in the 8th minute of play forced Irundi EC's goalkeeper Fabrício de Castro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Oscar Nunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nelson Amorim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabrício de Castro having to interfere. After having played for 16 minutes, Nelson Amorim managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. John Loki Futebol Clube's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nelson Amorim was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Oscar Nunes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabrício de Castro having to interfere. Nelson Amorim recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Oscar Nunes fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored John Loki Futebol Clube's protests and gave Oscar Nunes a yellow card for diving instead. Oscar Nunes kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Nelson Amorim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabrício de Castro having to interfere. Deivid Damião struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Delfim Alves didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Irundi EC. After 37 played minutes, John Loki Futebol Clube's Evaristo Cabral shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Fabrício de Castro came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in John Loki Futebol Clube reached it. After 43 minutes, Tarcisio Quirino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the John Loki Futebol Clube and the Irundi EC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in John Loki Futebol Clube's zone, Deivid Damião stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Delfim Alves came out of the goal and Deivid Damião tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Delfim Alves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulinho Maranhense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Oscar Nunes to strike the kick off in the second half. Delfim Alves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Deivid Damião, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 51st minute, Zé Pedro Braga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 52ndth minute of the game Deivid Damião who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but John Loki Futebol Clube's Delfim Alves was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paulinho Maranhense in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Delfim Alves prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Deivid Damião managed to get in a good position for a shot. Irundi EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Deivid Damião was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Delfim Alves breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Paulinho Maranhense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paulinho Maranhense struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Delfim Alves didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Irundi EC. If Paulinho Maranhense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Delfim Alves came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Irundi EC's Paulinho Maranhense. But to his dismay, Paulinho Maranhense quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. If Zé Roberto Leão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Irundi EC fully deserved thier win.
