Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Cleiton Sá made the kick off and thus started the match. 5 minutes into the match, Luzerna's Nicolas Varela sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Severino Gonçalves narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cleiton Sá fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severino Gonçalves having to interfere. Severino Gonçalves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicolas Varela, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cleiton Sá in the 14th minute of play forced Parado's goalkeeper Severino Gonçalves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 14 played minutes Parado got a freekick which was hit by Wesley Correia. Severino Gonçalves stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cleiton Sá's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. Nicolas Varela fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severino Gonçalves having to interfere. Nicolas Varela struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Severino Gonçalves didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Luzerna. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cleiton Sá in the 26th minute of play forced Parado's goalkeeper Severino Gonçalves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nicolas Varela received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Severino Gonçalves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cleiton Sá took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Severino Gonçalves. Severino Gonçalves dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The Parado players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Luzerna were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cristian Damião made a kick off. Severino Gonçalves made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lino Araújo in the 51st minute. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Luzerna's goalkeeper Giuseppe Campidelis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cleiton Sá received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Severino Gonçalves came out and tried to block the shot, but Cleiton Sá slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 57th minute. Nicolas Varela fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severino Gonçalves having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Luzerna's zone, Cristian Damião stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Giuseppe Campidelis came out of the goal and Cristian Damião tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Wesley Correia fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Parado's protests and gave Wesley Correia a yellow card for diving instead. Wesley Correia got his second yellow card in the match during the 73rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Wesley Correia hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nicolas Varela got free with Severino Gonçalves in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Severino Gonçalves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cleiton Sá in the 88th minute of play. 91 minutes into the match, Parado's goal looked a bit too open when Cleiton Sá came free, but Severino Gonçalves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cleiton Sá fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severino Gonçalves having to interfere. The Parado supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Luzerna's performance. The match ended with a win for Luzerna.
