After having played for 3 minutes, Aníbal Bezerra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Base-Velha FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aníbal Bezerra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Prados SS's Túlio Vaz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Prados SS from getting a goal against them. When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, Joaquim Tinoco put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Júlio Secco. Júlio Secco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joaquim Tinoco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 18 minutes into the game, Prados SS's Mazinho Paraense nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Júlio Secco made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Bruno Rosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Júlio Secco having to interfere. If Joaquim Tinoco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Base-Velha FC's Giovani Lima got a free kick in the 27th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joaquim Tinoco in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Júlio Secco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Prados SS's Edgard Varela got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 47 minutes Prados SS's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cauan Gomes who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Cauan Gomes got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Túlio Vaz quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Joaquim Tinoco's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 52ndth minute, Júlio Secco skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 54 minutes into the match, Prados SS's goal looked a bit too open when Arí Gonçalves came free, but Túlio Vaz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Júlio Secco made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Edgard Varela sent off a good shot on target. Prados SS's Túlio Vaz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aníbal Bezerra in the 62nd minute of play. When Paulo Renato Prata fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Base-Velha FC's protests and gave Paulo Renato Prata a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Base-Velha FC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Paulo Renato Prata hit a great ball. Júlio Secco came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Prados SS's Joaquim Tinoco. But to his dismay, Joaquim Tinoco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. Prados SS's Joaquim Tinoco was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 74th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. A collision led to Base-Velha FC getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Cauan Gomes hit a great ball. Túlio Vaz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arí Gonçalves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 86 played minutes Base-Velha FC got a freekick which was hit by William Vianna. A collision led to Base-Velha FC getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Paulo Renato Prata hit a great ball. In the 93rd minute, Edgard Varela got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the final whistle sounded Prados SS left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Base-Velha FC.
