Acácio de Sousa hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Augusto Vasconcelos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Arthur de Brito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Gilson Penha came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Night Wolves fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gilson Penha couldn't finish the play. After 19 played minutes Sopro F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Adalberto Tróia. In the 20th minute, Augusto Vasconcelos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gilson Penha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arthur de Brito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augusto Vasconcelos in the 23rd minute of play. A collision led to Sopro F.C. getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Danilo Rocha hit a great ball. In the 27th minute Gilson Penha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arthur de Brito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gilson Penha in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arthur de Brito prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 34 minutes into the match, Sopro F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Gilson Penha came free, but Arthur de Brito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gilson Penha hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zé Augusto Tande made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Augusto Vasconcelos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Night Wolves's supporters rose to their feet, but Augusto Vasconcelos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arthur de Brito breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 56th minute, Zé Augusto Tande hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 60thth minute of the game Augusto Vasconcelos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sopro F.C.'s Arthur de Brito was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 64th minute Luizão Rodrigues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilton Paes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 67th match minute, Night Wolves was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frank Saldanha to maneuver through the defense. Augusto Vasconcelos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Augusto Vasconcelos received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Arthur de Brito came out and tried to block the shot, but Augusto Vasconcelos slotted it home off the left post making it 0-1 in the 77th minute. 81 minutes into the game, Osmar Ribeiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Night Wolves's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sopro F.C. the free kick. After a rather tough play, Night Wolves's Osmar Ribeiro got a free kick in the 81st minute. If Zé Augusto Tande had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 83 played minutes Night Wolves got a freekick which was hit by Luisão Mello. Augusto Vasconcelos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arthur de Brito having to interfere. If Gilson Penha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 0-2 became the score in the 92nd minute when Augusto Vasconcelos elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar.
