The Sopro F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arthur de Brito should have stopped the shot. Celso Brito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arthur de Brito having to interfere. Vito Sena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Arthur de Brito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arthur de Brito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vito Sena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The wind increased when Celso Brito made the kick off in the second half. If Vito Sena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 80 minutes into the match, Sopro F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Celso Brito came free, but Arthur de Brito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sopro F.C.'s Arthur de Brito proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Sopro F.C. from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Celso Brito managed to get in a good position for a shot. Estrela Dourada F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Celso Brito was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arthur de Brito breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 88th minute of the match Nando Nunes shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arthur de Brito showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 90th minute, Danilo Rocha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vito Sena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Arthur de Brito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 96th minute, Zé Augusto Tande got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Estrela Dourada F.C. played a much better game than Sopro F.C. and deserved their victory. The Sopro F.C. players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
