Patrick Travassos was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Arí Gonçalves showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 36 minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

For all the effort they put into the match, the Candeia players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Base-Velha FC.
