Spectators: 7310 (Terracing: 5484, Seating: 1681, VIP seats: 145) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Joaquim Tinoco got the match started through his kick off. After 3 minutes, Vágner Veiga mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Prados SS and the Estrela Dourada F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Vágner Veiga kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Mazinho Paraense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 15th minute Vito Sena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Túlio Vaz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 16th minute of the match Estrela Dourada F.C. got a corner. Prados SS's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Nando Nunes ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Nando Nunes got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Túlio Vaz quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. A hard shot 24 in the game by Joaquim Tinoco from a close distance when the talented Cezary Cichewski managed to make a qualified save. Estrela Dourada F.C.'s players were relieved. In the 27th match minute, Estrela Dourada F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nando Nunes to maneuver through the defense. Prados SS's Joaquim Tinoco got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 30th minute, Edgard Varela ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cezary Cichewski was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Samuel Recife hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Prados SS defense, Celso Brito kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Túlio Vaz. The Prados SS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Túlio Vaz should have stopped the shot. Cezary Cichewski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vágner Veiga in the 40th minute. Mazinho Paraense might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cezary Cichewski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mazinho Paraense ran back to his position shaking his head. Edgard Varela sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Celso Brito made the kick off in the second half. Joaquim Soeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Túlio Vaz having to interfere. A collision led to Prados SS getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Carlos Barreto hit a great ball. 59 minutes into the match, Estrela Dourada F.C.'s Nando Nunes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Túlio Vaz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edgard Varela during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Túlio Vaz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celso Brito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edgard Varela fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cezary Cichewski having to interfere. Túlio Vaz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vito Sena in the 71st minute. If Mazinho Paraense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bruno Rosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Vágner Veiga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Cezary Cichewski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 80th match minute, Estrela Dourada F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Osmar Abreu to maneuver through the defense. After 81 played minutes, Prados SS's Mazinho Paraense shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cezary Cichewski came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Prados SS reached it. Edgard Varela took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cezary Cichewski. Cezary Cichewski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joaquim Tinoco in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cezary Cichewski saved Estrela Dourada F.C. from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 90 minutes, Joaquim Tinoco put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Cezary Cichewski. In the 96th minute of the match Osmar Abreu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Túlio Vaz skillfully saved the ball. Prados SS walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
