The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Carlos Eduardo Donatello fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Night Wolves's protests and gave Carlos Eduardo Donatello a yellow card for diving instead. Carlos Eduardo Donatello kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. In the 10th minute, Gilson Penha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot 12 in the game by Joaquim Tinoco from a close distance when the talented Wilton Paes managed to make a qualified save. Night Wolves's players were relieved. 14 minutes into the match, Prados SS's goal looked a bit too open when Augusto Vasconcelos came free, but Túlio Vaz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wilton Paes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquim Tinoco in the 18th minute of play. Night Wolves's Wilton Paes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Night Wolves from getting a goal against them. After having played for 20 minutes, Luisão Nunes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Night Wolves's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luisão Nunes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mazinho Paraense got free with Wilton Paes in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Night Wolves getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Carlos Eduardo Donatello hit a great ball. The Prados SS fans' excitement grew in the 31st match minute when Prados SS's Joaquim Tinoco looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 36th minute, Edgard Varela got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Joaquim Tinoco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wilton Paes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. Joaquim Tinoco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilton Paes having to interfere. Joaquim Tinoco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Wilton Paes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Night Wolves's zone, Edgard Varela stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wilton Paes came out of the goal and Edgard Varela tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

55 minutes into the match, Prados SS's Joaquim Tinoco sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wilton Paes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Prados SS booed when Night Wolves was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Augusto Vasconcelos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wilton Paes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgard Varela, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bruno Rosa took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wilton Paes. Wilton Paes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Bruno Rosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilton Paes having to interfere. If Joaquim Tinoco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edgard Varela blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wilton Paes having to make a save. Night Wolves's Wilton Paes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joaquim Tinoco in the 76th minute of play. Túlio Vaz made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Gilson Penha sent off a good shot on target. 81 minutes into the match, Edgard Varela notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Night Wolves's Wilton Paes. Wilton Paes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Night Wolves's Gilson Penha got a free kick in the 87th minute. 92 minutes into the match, Night Wolves's goal looked a bit too open when Edgard Varela came free, but Wilton Paes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 94th minute of the match Carlos Eduardo Donatello sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Túlio Vaz skillfully saved the ball. Gilson Penha's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Túlio Vaz firmly grabbed it by the left post. Dadá Figueiredo hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Prados SS had played much better football throughout.
