Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 62nd match minute, Jacuizinho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruninho Peixoto to maneuver through the defense. Amauri Matorin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abelardo Carioca in the 71st minute of the match. Abelardo Carioca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Amauri Matorin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Amauri Matorin was a little too slow when Abelardo Carioca got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 78th minute. The score was now 0-3. The goalkeeper, Amauri Matorin, was totally fooled by Barcelona Fc's Germano Nascimento, who 85 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Dito Mangueira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amauri Matorin having to interfere. If Dito Mangueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Barcelona Fc players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
