Spectators: 6667 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1667, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Fiori da Silveira started the match with the kick off. After 3 played minutes Jacuizinho got a freekick which was hit by Fabiano da Silveira. 7 minutes into the match, Aílton Félix notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Jacuizinho's Amauri Matorin. Amauri Matorin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Pedro Pernambucano scored 0-2 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Amauri Matorin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 16 minutes into the game, Fiori da Silveira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jacuizinho's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Deportivo La Corcunda the free kick. In the 16th match minute, Jacuizinho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fiori da Silveira to maneuver through the defense. When Douglas Velasco fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jacuizinho's protests and gave Douglas Velasco a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Jacuizinho fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 18th minute. Penalty! After some careless play in the Jacuizinho defense, Tomé Lira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Amauri Matorin. The Jacuizinho fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Amauri Matorin should have stopped the shot. Amauri Matorin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Pernambucano, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. 26 minutes into the match, Jacuizinho's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Pernambucano came free, but Amauri Matorin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amauri Matorin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Pernambucano in the 27th minute of play. After 49 played minutes, Jacuizinho's Jarbas Bittencourt shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Manoel Torres came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Jacuizinho reached it.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pedro Pernambucano was the one to do the kick off. After 53 minutes of play, Deportivo La Corcunda's Pedro Pernambucano made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Amauri Matorin was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 57th minute, Deportivo La Corcunda's Aílton Félix ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Amauri Matorin. Amauri Matorin yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-6. Tomé Lira kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Clóvis Koehler managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deportivo La Corcunda's supporters rose to their feet, but Clóvis Koehler was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amauri Matorin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Amauri Matorin was a little too slow when Aílton Félix got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 66th minute. The score was now 0-7. After having played for 69 minutes, César Breckenfeld managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jacuizinho's supporters crossed their fingers, but César Breckenfeld was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 71 played minutes Deportivo La Corcunda got a freekick which was hit by Acácio Severo. Clóvis Koehler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 77thth minute of the game Aílton Félix who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jacuizinho's Amauri Matorin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Pedro Pernambucano's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 80thth minute, Amauri Matorin skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Aílton Félix received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Amauri Matorin came out and tried to block the shot, but Aílton Félix slotted it home off the left post making it 0-8 in the 81st minute. After 96 minutes, Tomé Lira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Deportivo La Corcunda and the Jacuizinho players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 96 played minutes Deportivo La Corcunda got a freekick which was hit by Tomé Lira. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Jarbas Bittencourt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jacuizinho's supporters rose to their feet, but Jarbas Bittencourt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Manoel Torres breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Deportivo La Corcunda played a much better game than Jacuizinho and deserved their victory. The Jacuizinho players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
