After 54 minutes of play, 28 de Outubro's Luizão Brasil made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luís Fábio Coelho was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 59th minute, Rodolfo Souto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The 28 de Outubro fans cheered their team off the field, for while Caruaru FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
