Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Elder Barbosa in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edson Vasconcelos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Elder Barbosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Elder Barbosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Edson Vasconcelos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A hard shot 33 in the game by Luizão Brasil from a close distance when the talented Amauri Leite managed to make a qualified save. CENTER FC's players were relieved. Edson Vasconcelos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maurinho Brasil in the 46th minute of play. After the first half CENTER FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Benjamim Pinheiro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54thth minute of the game Elder Barbosa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but 28 de Outubro's Edson Vasconcelos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Maurinho Brasil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luizão Brasil hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Edson Vasconcelos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elder Barbosa in the 65th minute of the match. 66 minutes into the game, Elder Barbosa recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Edson Vasconcelos. Elder Barbosa showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. Elder Barbosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Edson Vasconcelos managed to avoid a goal in the 78thth minute, when CENTER FC's Maurinho Brasil fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Elder Barbosa came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the CENTER FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elder Barbosa couldn't finish the play. When the match had gone on for 84 minutes, Elder Barbosa took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Edson Vasconcelos to make any attempt to save it. In the 89th minute, Elder Barbosa reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Edson Vasconcelos. The goal made the score 0-5. CENTER FC played a much better game than 28 de Outubro and deserved their victory. The 28 de Outubro players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
