Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Geovanni Palmeira made the kick off and thus started the match. Geovanni Palmeira scored 0-1 in the 3rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Iuri Romero, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 8th minute, Vágner Dionísio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Orlando Nogueira was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Vágner Dionísio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orlando Nogueira having to interfere. Antuerpia's Orlando Nogueira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Antuerpia from getting a goal against them. Orlando Nogueira had great luck who in the 15thth minute grab hold of the ball when Vágner Dionísio from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Antuerpia's Ediberto Paraense got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ediberto Paraense in the 17th minute of play forced Cruxeiro AD's goalkeeper Iuri Romero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Geovanni Palmeira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Antuerpia's supporters rose to their feet, but Geovanni Palmeira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Iuri Romero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vágner Dionísio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Antuerpia's Sidnei Marquez got a free kick in the 25th minute. The Cruxeiro AD fans' excitement grew in the 31st match minute when Cruxeiro AD's Cláudio Dionísio looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 34th minute, Antuerpia's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Vágner Dionísio fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Benjamim da Cunha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Orlando Nogueira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Orlando Nogueira came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Cruxeiro AD's Cláudio Dionísio. But to his dismay, Cláudio Dionísio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Gabriel Faria in the 43rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Orlando Nogueira, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Benjamim da Cunha blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Orlando Nogueira having to make a save. Vágner Dionísio struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Orlando Nogueira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cruxeiro AD.

The wind increased when Vágner Dionísio made the kick off in the second half. When Cruxeiro AD's Vágner Dionísio in the 51st minute got a chance for a shot 51st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Antuerpia's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Cruxeiro AD's Tomé Andrade got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Ediberto Paraense could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Iuri Romero made a huge save. Gabriel Faria kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. If Gabriel Faria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 62nd minute Gabriel Faria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orlando Nogueira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cláudio Dionísio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orlando Nogueira having to interfere. 5-1 became the score in the 67th minute when Vágner Dionísio elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. If Vágner Dionísio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 73rd minute of the match Luan Neto shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Orlando Nogueira showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 74 minutes into the match, Antuerpia's goal looked a bit too open when Vágner Dionísio came free, but Orlando Nogueira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cruxeiro AD's Vágner Dionísio got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 81st match minute, Antuerpia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armandinho Nóbrega to maneuver through the defense. Cruxeiro AD's Aloísio Sanches got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Orlando Nogueira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aloísio Sanches in the 84th minute of play. Antuerpia's Orlando Nogueira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cláudio Dionísio in the 85th minute of play. Orlando Nogueira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel Faria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Orlando Nogueira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cláudio Dionísio, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Benjamim da Cunha might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Orlando Nogueira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Benjamim da Cunha ran back to his position shaking his head. When Luan Neto fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cruxeiro AD's protests and gave Luan Neto a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Antuerpia booed when Cruxeiro AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luan Neto didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee ended the match the Cruxeiro AD players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
