Spectators: 7316 (Terracing: 5488, Seating: 1683, VIP seats: 145) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when João Vítor Linares took the kick off in the first half of the match. Amauri Leite took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Vítor Linares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 7 minutes into the game, CENTER FC's Elder Barbosa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Friedrich Nietzsche made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Sebastião Gonçalves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A hard shot by Josué Braga from long distance, 13 minutes into the match, got Amauri Leite's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Friedrich Nietzsche came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by CENTER FC's Elder Barbosa. But to his dismay, Elder Barbosa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. CENTER FC's Maurinho Brasil got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 22 minutes of play, CENTER FC's Maurinho Brasil made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Friedrich Nietzsche was left in no man's land by his defense there! Amauri Leite didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sebastião Gonçalves went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Elder Barbosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Friedrich Nietzsche having to interfere. When Tiago Gabriel Santana fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CENTER FC's protests and gave Tiago Gabriel Santana a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to CENTER FC getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Tiago Gabriel Santana hit a great ball. In the 38th minute, Elder Barbosa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CENTER FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. CENTER FC's Amauri Leite played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Vítor Linares in the 46th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-4 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Elder Barbosa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 55 minutes, Frank Black mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Balco and the CENTER FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 57th minute, Balco's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Elder Barbosa fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 63rd minute, CENTER FC's Elder Barbosa dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-5. CENTER FC's Maurinho Brasil got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 69 minutes into the match, Balco's goalkeeper Friedrich Nietzsche had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Maurinho Brasil. Elder Barbosa struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Friedrich Nietzsche didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CENTER FC. When Maurinho Brasil came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the CENTER FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maurinho Brasil couldn't finish the play. CENTER FC's Elder Barbosa was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 74th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. When Sonny Rollins fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Balco's protests and gave Sonny Rollins a yellow card for diving instead. After 89 played minutes Balco got a freekick which was hit by Cauã Moreira. In the 90th minute, Faustão Schmidt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 92 minutes into the match, Balco's goal looked a bit too open when Elder Barbosa came free, but Friedrich Nietzsche reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 93rd minute, Frank Black hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
