Teodoro Lima showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geraldo de Queirós in the 21st minute of the match. Teodoro Lima didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Frederico Hermes went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. 27 minutes into the game, Cido Tróia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Águia Azul Futebol Clube's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Avançados Fc the free kick. After a rather tough play, Águia Azul Futebol Clube's Cido Tróia got a free kick in the 27th minute. The supporters of Avançados Fc booed when Águia Azul Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Valdomiro Moraes to make the kick off. Bernardo Barros might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over João Linhares. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bernardo Barros ran back to his position shaking his head. Valdomiro Moraes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
