Leopoldo Travassos made in the 7th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Warriors4EVER's Ian Lopez. In the 13th minute, Ademir Almeida hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 16th minute of the match Marcus Pombal shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Severino Ceresso showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dráuzio Travassos in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Severino Ceresso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Severino Ceresso came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Warriors4EVER's Dráuzio Travassos. But to his dismay, Dráuzio Travassos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 25 minutes into the match, Teodoro Braga had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Severino Ceresso. Spaboys 4EVER's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Teodoro Braga was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Warriors4EVER's Teodoro Braga got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 33 minutes, Dráuzio Travassos made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Spaboys 4EVER's Severino Ceresso tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Spaboys 4EVER's Severino Ceresso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dráuzio Travassos in the 36th minute of play. The Warriors4EVER fans' excitement grew in the 38th match minute when Warriors4EVER's Dráuzio Travassos looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 42 minutes into the match, Dráuzio Travassos notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Spaboys 4EVER's Severino Ceresso. Severino Ceresso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dráuzio Travassos in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Severino Ceresso saved Spaboys 4EVER from getting behind. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dráuzio Travassos was the one to do the kick off. Dráuzio Travassos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Severino Ceresso having to make a save. In the 55th minute, Dráuzio Travassos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A hard shot 58 in the game by Dráuzio Travassos from a close distance when the talented Severino Ceresso managed to make a qualified save. Spaboys 4EVER's players were relieved. When Dráuzio Travassos came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Warriors4EVER fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dráuzio Travassos couldn't finish the play. When Dráuzio Travassos, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 64 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Severino Ceresso was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Severino Ceresso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dráuzio Travassos in the 70th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Dráuzio Travassos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Severino Ceresso was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. When Duncan McLeod came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Warriors4EVER fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Duncan McLeod couldn't finish the play. Severino Ceresso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dráuzio Travassos's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dráuzio Travassos in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Severino Ceresso saved Spaboys 4EVER from getting behind. When Luís Paulo Leite came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Warriors4EVER fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luís Paulo Leite couldn't finish the play. Severino Ceresso made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Dráuzio Travassos sent off a good shot on target. 89 minutes into the match, Luís Paulo Leite dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Severino Ceresso, 0-7. 95 minutes into the game, Warriors4EVER's Dráuzio Travassos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Severino Ceresso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-8. Warriors4EVER played a much better game than Spaboys 4EVER and deserved their victory. The Spaboys 4EVER players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
