After 7 played minutes Bacasables got a freekick which was hit by Luisinho Koehler. After 13 played minutes Tiaguinho Seco rounded Bacasables's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. The Ibitiguaia fans' excitement grew in the 19th match minute when Ibitiguaia's Alfredo Cabral looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Bacasables's Fermin Benat proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Bacasables from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiaguinho Seco in the 26th minute of play forced Bacasables's goalkeeper Fermin Benat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 27 played minutes Bacasables got a freekick which was hit by Chicão da Fonseca. 30 minutes into the match, Bacasables's goal looked a bit too open when Tiaguinho Seco came free, but Fermin Benat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Chicão da Fonseca fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bacasables's protests and gave Chicão da Fonseca a yellow card for diving instead. Chicão da Fonseca kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Tiaguinho Seco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fermin Benat having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luisinho Koehler to make the kick off. If Alfredo Cabral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Ibitiguaia's zone, Luisinho Koehler stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Murillo Veloso came out of the goal and Luisinho Koehler tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fermin Benat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiaguinho Seco in the 60th minute of play. In the 62nd minute, Alfredo Cabral got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fermin Benat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfredo Cabral, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Tiaguinho Seco succeeded in the game's 67th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 4-0. Luiz Eduardo Aguiar took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 95th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Fermin Benat. Bacasables's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Ibitiguaia had played much better football throughout.
