Murillo Veloso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Murillo Veloso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Basílio Paulista's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. Tiaguinho Seco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Erivaldo Cardozo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erivaldo Cardozo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tiaguinho Seco, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Erivaldo Cardozo.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tiaguinho Seco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rômulo de Amorim charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rômulo de Amorim the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 84th minute, Rômulo de Amorim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 90th match minute, Mararupa F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Carlos Pena to maneuver through the defense. Tiaguinho Seco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erivaldo Cardozo having to interfere. Erivaldo Cardozo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tiaguinho Seco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tiaguinho Seco succeeded in the game's 96th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-2. Ibitiguaia were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
