The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee felt a red card was in order, 8 minutes into the game, when Marcus Pombal put in a rough tackle. In the 8th minute, one of Warriors4EVER:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Warriors4EVER. A nice corner shot did that Conrado Sanches got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Faustão Passos quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After some careless play in the Warriors4EVER defense, Geraldo de Queirós kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Faustão Passos. The Warriors4EVER fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Faustão Passos should have stopped the shot. After having played for 15 minutes, Geraldo de Queirós managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Águia Azul Futebol Clube's supporters crossed their fingers, but Geraldo de Queirós was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 17 minutes into the match, Warriors4EVER's goal looked a bit too open when Frederico Hermes came free, but Faustão Passos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cido Tróia during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 18th match minute, Águia Azul Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cido Tróia to maneuver through the defense. Geraldo de Queirós fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Faustão Passos having to interfere. In the 28th minute, Frederico Hermes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Faustão Passos was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Frederico Hermes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A sloppy throw-in by Mathias Almeida in the 43rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Warriors4EVER's Luís Paulo Leite. Luís Paulo Leite kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match.

The wind increased when Luís Paulo Leite made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Geraldo de Queirós shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Faustão Passos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Faustão Passos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Falcão Peres, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. A collision led to Warriors4EVER getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Teodoro Braga hit a great ball. Frederico Hermes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Warriors4EVER's Teodoro Braga managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Mathias Almeida in the 61 minute of the game. 63 minutes into the match, Warriors4EVER's goal looked a bit too open when Geraldo de Queirós came free, but Faustão Passos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 65 minutes, Geraldo de Queirós managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Águia Azul Futebol Clube's supporters crossed their fingers, but Geraldo de Queirós was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A throw-in in the 76th minute of the game was made by Mathias Almeida with Falcão Peres as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. After a defensive mix-up in Águia Azul Futebol Clube's zone, Luís Paulo Leite stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. João Linhares came out of the goal and Luís Paulo Leite tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Frederico Hermes struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Faustão Passos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Águia Azul Futebol Clube. Teodoro Braga succeeded in the game's 91st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-2.
