Hakuna Matata's Luisinho Brasil got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 9 played minutes Spaboys 4EVER got a freekick which was hit by Percy Mazza. If Marcos Guedes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Juninho Aguiar's late challenge caught a Spaboys 4EVER's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Juninho Aguiar helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Hakuna Matata's Juninho Aguiar got a free kick in the 15th minute. If Mathias Ribeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ulysses Marques was out of position in the 23 minute of play, and Paulinho Carvalho capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Paulinho Carvalho really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. If Mathias Ribeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luisinho Brasil's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Severino Ceresso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. When Mathias Ribeiro came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Hakuna Matata fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mathias Ribeiro couldn't finish the play. 31 minutes into the game, Paulinho Carvalho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Spaboys 4EVER's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hakuna Matata the free kick. After a rather tough play, Spaboys 4EVER's Paulinho Carvalho got a free kick in the 31st minute. Luisinho Brasil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Severino Ceresso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leopoldo Travassos kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mathias Ribeiro in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Severino Ceresso saved Spaboys 4EVER from getting behind. In the 43rd minute, Paulinho Carvalho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Severino Ceresso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mathias Ribeiro in the 46th minute of play. Benedito da Rocha's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ulysses Marques read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 48th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Benedito da Rocha to strike the kick off in the second half. Ademir Almeida kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Hakuna Matata's Mathias Ribeiro got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 63rd play minute Luisinho Brasil came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Severino Ceresso. 1-2. Benedito da Rocha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 74th minute, Benedito da Rocha got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luisinho Brasil kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Ulysses Marques showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulinho Carvalho in the 80th minute of the match. Mathias Ribeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hakuna Matata's Ulysses Marques played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benedito da Rocha in the 84th minute of play. If Benedito da Rocha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Marcos Guedes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 97 minutes of play, Spaboys 4EVER's Marcos Guedes made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ulysses Marques was left in no man's land by his defense there! Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
