In the 7th minute Matheus Oliveira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Toader Grigore saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Silas da Cunha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gilberto Antunes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Toader Grigore read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. Silas da Cunha took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Toader Grigore. Toader Grigore dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 33 minutes into the game, Matheus Oliveira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Toader Grigore was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Nico Prata received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Toader Grigore tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Real Catarinense's Toader Grigore played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matheus Oliveira in the 41st minute of play. After the first half Log Horizon were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Silas da Cunha made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 53 minutes, Silas da Cunha managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Log Horizon's supporters crossed their fingers, but Silas da Cunha was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 54th minute, Matheus Oliveira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gilberto Antunes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Toader Grigore having to make a save. Gilberto Antunes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Toader Grigore having to interfere. In the 65thth minute of the game Silas da Cunha who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Real Catarinense's Toader Grigore was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Toader Grigore made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silas da Cunha in the 67th minute of play. After having played for 70 minutes, Matheus Oliveira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Log Horizon's supporters crossed their fingers, but Matheus Oliveira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Matheus Oliveira came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Log Horizon fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Matheus Oliveira couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmílson Jacinto in the 73rd minute of play forced Log Horizon's goalkeeper Faustão Coutinho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gilberto Antunes's late challenge caught a Real Catarinense's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gilberto Antunes helped the player get up and apologised. After 74 played minutes Log Horizon got a freekick which was hit by Gilberto Antunes. Silas da Cunha might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Toader Grigore. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Silas da Cunha ran back to his position shaking his head. Matheus Oliveira who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 76thth minute tested the skills of Toader Grigore when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Gilberto Antunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Toader Grigore made an important save on a dangerous shot by Silas da Cunha in the 86th minute. Gilberto Antunes struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Toader Grigore didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Log Horizon. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Gilberto Antunes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Log Horizon's supporters rose to their feet, but Gilberto Antunes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Toader Grigore breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Toader Grigore made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silas da Cunha in the 92nd minute of play. Toader Grigore came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Log Horizon's Silas da Cunha. But to his dismay, Silas da Cunha quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4.
