Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Fred Salgado started the match with the kick off. In the 5th minute, Germano Zanette hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Sérgio Figueiredo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Renan Tepedino was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. In the 9th minute Sérgio Figueiredo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Renan Tepedino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Assaizal defense, Sérgio Figueiredo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Renan Tepedino. The Assaizal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Renan Tepedino should have stopped the shot. Aírton Breckenfeld kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Fred Salgado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Giuseppe Dias took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Percy Oliveira. Percy Oliveira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Assaizal's Renan Tepedino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maicon Romero in the 25th minute of play. Renan Tepedino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Osmar Loyola in the 29th minute of the match. In the 42nd minute, Osmar Loyola made a precise shot to the right of Renan Tepedino. Assaizal's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sérgio Figueiredo to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Vintage FC's goal looked a bit too open when Aírton Breckenfeld came free, but Percy Oliveira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 59 minutes of play, Vintage FC's Osmar Loyola made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Renan Tepedino was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Vintage FC's Sérgio Figueiredo in 62 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Renan Tepedino guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Osmar Loyola could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Renan Tepedino made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, Sérgio Figueiredo took a quick shot and it went in 2-4 without a chance for Renan Tepedino to make any attempt to save it. Giuseppe Dias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Percy Oliveira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Renan Tepedino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sérgio Figueiredo, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Renan Tepedino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sérgio Figueiredo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Sérgio Figueiredo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Renan Tepedino. That made the score 2-5 in the 81 minute of play. Vinícius Tavares's late challenge caught a Assaizal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vinícius Tavares helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Vintage FC's Vinícius Tavares got a free kick in the 84th minute. Maicon Romero could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Renan Tepedino made a huge save. In the 89th minute, Hudson Maia reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Renan Tepedino. The goal made the score 2-6. If Giuseppe Dias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Allan Carneiro hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. In the 96th match minute, Vintage FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hudson Maia to maneuver through the defense. Vintage FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
