Giuseppe Dias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 2nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Renan Tepedino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilberto Antunes in the 6th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 11 minutes, Renan Tepedino successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 14th minute of the match, Matheus Oliveira got a very nice opportunity to score, but Renan Tepedino was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 20 played minutes Assaizal got a freekick which was hit by Osvaldinho Veiga. When the match clock showed 26 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Fred Salgado sped through Log Horizon's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Faustão Coutinho. After some careless play in the Assaizal defense, Matheus Oliveira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Renan Tepedino. The Assaizal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Renan Tepedino should have stopped the shot. Renan Tepedino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silas da Cunha in the 39th minute of play. In the 40th minute Silas da Cunha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Renan Tepedino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fred Salgado was the one to do the kick off. Matheus Oliveira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Renan Tepedino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matheus Oliveira in the 57th minute of play. Faustão Coutinho was out of position in the 59 minute of play, and Fred Salgado capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Fred Salgado really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. Assaizal's Renan Tepedino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matheus Oliveira in the 63rd minute of play. Matheus Oliveira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Assaizal defense, Gilberto Antunes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Renan Tepedino. Assaizal's Renan Tepedino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silas da Cunha in the 71st minute of play. In the 73rd minute, Matheus Oliveira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 74 minutes into the match, Log Horizon's goal looked a bit too open when Aírton Breckenfeld came free, but Faustão Coutinho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Giuseppe Dias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Faustão Coutinho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Assaizal's Renan Tepedino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silas da Cunha in the 82nd minute of play. In the 84th minute, Silas da Cunha ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Renan Tepedino was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. In the 93rd minute, Silas da Cunha left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Log Horizon fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-2. When the referee ended the match the Log Horizon players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
