Spectators: 7254 (Terracing: 5442, Seating: 1668, VIP seats: 144) Chorona's Ezequiel Lara started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. João Adolfo Gerber in the 3rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Válter Proença, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Chorona's Gernando Antunes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kléber França in the 5th minute of play. The attack was good, but when João Adolfo Gerber in the 7th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. 8 minutes into the game, Chorona's Ezequiel Lara nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Válter Proença made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Válter Proença took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ezequiel Lara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. João Adolfo Gerber succeeded in the game's 21st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0. Chorona's João Adolfo Gerber was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 26th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. When Ezequiel Lara came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Chorona fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ezequiel Lara couldn't finish the play. João Adolfo Gerber could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Válter Proença made a huge save. In the 33rd minute, João Adolfo Gerber fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Válter Proença, passed just outside the right post. Válter Proença was a little too slow when Ezequiel Lara got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 35th minute. The score was now 4-0. Válter Proença made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ezequiel Lara in the 40th minute of play. Válter Proença came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Chorona's João Adolfo Gerber. But to his dismay, João Adolfo Gerber quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Válter Proença took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Adolfo Gerber, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Alberto Guimarães in the 47th minute of play forced Chorona's goalkeeper Gernando Antunes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kléber França to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kléber França in the 52nd minute of play forced Chorona's goalkeeper Gernando Antunes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ezequiel Lara in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Válter Proença saved Nordestina from getting behind. In the 57thth minute of the game João Adolfo Gerber who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nordestina's Válter Proença was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Chorona fans' excitement grew in the 60th match minute when Chorona's Ezequiel Lara looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carlos Alberto Guimarães got free with Gernando Antunes in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ezequiel Lara in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Válter Proença saved Nordestina from getting behind. 67 minutes into the match, Ezequiel Lara had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Válter Proença. Nordestina's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ezequiel Lara was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. João Adolfo Gerber struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Válter Proença didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chorona. If Ezequiel Lara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 78 minutes into the match, Nordestina's goal looked a bit too open when Ezequiel Lara came free, but Válter Proença reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edgard Melo hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Gernando Antunes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kléber França in the 84th minute of play. Ezequiel Lara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 90th minute João Adolfo Gerber shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Válter Proença saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 92nd minute Kléber França shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gernando Antunes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Chorona fully deserved thier win.
