Spectators: 6669 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1649, VIP seats: 20) 3 minutes into the game, Cesinha de Sena was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Punau SS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Costas the free kick. Cesinha de Sena kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Eduardo de Lara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Naldo Bertassi having to interfere. 10 minutes into the match, Punau SS's goal looked a bit too open when Davi Hoffmann came free, but Naldo Bertassi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Davi Hoffmann fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Costas's protests and gave Davi Hoffmann a yellow card for diving instead. Davi Hoffmann kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Naldo Bertassi came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Costas's Eduardo de Lara. But to his dismay, Eduardo de Lara quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Punau SS's goalkeeper Naldo Bertassi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Punau SS's Naldo Bertassi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Davi Hoffmann in the 30th minute of play. Waldemar Zonta charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Waldemar Zonta the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Punau SS's Waldemar Zonta got a free kick in the 31st minute. 34 minutes into the game, Costas's Eduardo de Lara nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Naldo Bertassi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 43rd minute Rômulo Linhares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Naldo Bertassi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Davi Hoffmann to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Costas's goalkeeper Nando Botelho, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 53 minutes Costas's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Oswaldo Vianna who took care of the corner kick. Oswaldo Vianna made a great header on Punau SS's corner, it was just that Costas's Nando Botelho managed to reach the ball for a save. Naldo Bertassi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Davi Hoffmann, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. If Davi Hoffmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rômulo Linhares during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Punau SS booed when Costas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rômulo Linhares didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Davi Hoffmann in the 72nd minute of play forced Punau SS's goalkeeper Naldo Bertassi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rômulo Linhares hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Luís Barral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nando Botelho having to interfere. 81 minutes into the match, Costas's goal looked a bit too open when José Maria Alvarenga came free, but Nando Botelho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eduardo de Lara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 84th minute, Davi Hoffmann got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Punau SS's goalkeeper Naldo Bertassi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Naldo Bertassi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Davi Hoffmann, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Eduardo de Lara recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Costas played a much better game than Punau SS and deserved their victory. The Punau SS players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
