After some careless play in the Itacira defense, Nestor de Sena kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ismael Peres. The Itacira fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ismael Peres should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Afonso Pimenta during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Itacira's Afonso Pimenta got a free kick in the 17th minute. Nestor de Sena recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ismael Peres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nestor de Sena in the 23rd minute of play. In the 28th match minute, Ihum was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulo José Antunes to maneuver through the defense. Kaká Campidelis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matías Simão having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Paulo José Antunes during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 32 played minutes Ihum got a freekick which was hit by Paulo José Antunes. After having played for 36 minutes, Nestor de Sena managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ihum's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nestor de Sena was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Nestor de Sena kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ismael Peres. That made the score 2-0 in the 43 minute of play. Ismael Peres made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Zé Paulo Brasil sent off a good shot on target.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luiz Gustavo Neiva to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nestor de Sena in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ismael Peres prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Zé Paulo Brasil's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ismael Peres was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Ihum's Paulo José Antunes got a free kick in the 62nd minute. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Itacira's goalkeeper Ismael Peres, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Nestor de Sena managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ihum's supporters rose to their feet, but Nestor de Sena was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ismael Peres breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Ihum booed when Itacira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliseu Bertassi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 72nd minute of the match Romário Faria sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ismael Peres skillfully saved the ball. Nestor de Sena took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ismael Peres. Ismael Peres dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. In the 79th minute, Kaká Campidelis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 80 minutes into the match, Itacira's goal looked a bit too open when Zé Paulo Brasil came free, but Ismael Peres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Itacira's Ismael Peres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nestor de Sena in the 81st minute of play. In the 86th minute, Zé Paulo Brasil got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nestor de Sena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ismael Peres having to interfere. Diguinho Eger hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. When Ihum's Nestor de Sena in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Itacira's goalie prevented a goal. Ismael Peres stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nestor de Sena's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Ihum had won after a very even match.
