Spectators: 7217 (Terracing: 5414, Seating: 1660, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Fellipe Vinhas started the match with the kick off. After 9 played minutes Cachorroes F.C got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Renato Urbano. Fernando Fontes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fellipe Vinhas in the 13th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Mixquita FC's Cristóvão Albuquerque got a free kick in the 15th minute. Fellipe Vinhas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mixquita FC's Fernando Fontes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moisés Sena in the 18th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Moisés Sena in the 24th minute of play forced Mixquita FC's goalkeeper Fernando Fontes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Moisés Sena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Fernando Fontes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 31st minute, Fellipe Vinhas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fellipe Vinhas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Fellipe Vinhas might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fernando Fontes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fellipe Vinhas ran back to his position shaking his head. 36 minutes into the game, Luiz Fábio Eger was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mixquita FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cachorroes F.C the free kick. Luiz Fábio Eger kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Murilo Faria kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Mixquita FC's Joel Neves tried to score from far away in the 40th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Luís Fábio Vaz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mixquita FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Luís Fábio Vaz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ulysses Sabóia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luís Fábio Vaz who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 45thth minute tested the skills of Ulysses Sabóia when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Leonel Félix received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ulysses Sabóia came out and tried to block the shot, but Leonel Félix slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 46th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Fellipe Vinhas in the 53rd minute of play forced Mixquita FC's goalkeeper Fernando Fontes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 54 minutes into the match, Mixquita FC's goalkeeper Fernando Fontes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Moisés Sena. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marquinhos Soeiro during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. If Leonel Félix had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 66 played minutes Cachorroes F.C got a freekick which was hit by Luís Gustavo de Almeida. Ulysses Sabóia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Fábio Vaz, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Leonel Félix recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 72 minutes into the match, Leonel Félix notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Cachorroes F.C's Ulysses Sabóia. Ulysses Sabóia was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ulysses Sabóia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jairo Vargas, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Leonel Félix's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ulysses Sabóia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. When Jairo Vargas fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mixquita FC's protests and gave Jairo Vargas a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Mixquita FC getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Jairo Vargas hit a great ball. Luís Fábio Vaz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 94th minute of the match Pedro Vale sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fernando Fontes skillfully saved the ball. Fernando Fontes came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Cachorroes F.C's Moisés Sena. But to his dismay, Moisés Sena quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the Cachorroes F.C players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Mixquita FC.
