Ulysses Sabóia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Egídio Prado, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Egídio Prado stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Egídio Prado reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ulysses Sabóia. The goal made the score 0-2. Pedro Vale was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 60 minutes into the match. Adriano Bittencourt shot the penalty kick right outside the post. When %teams%'s Egídio Prado was free in front of goal, he didn't hesitate to shoot 0-3 just inside the left pole, 65 minutes into the game. Ulysses Sabóia was annoyed at himself for letting in the shot. Mazinho Breckenfeld blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ulysses Sabóia having to make a save. Mazinho Breckenfeld sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. EC Bahia's Egídio Prado got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Mazinho Breckenfeld had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ulysses Sabóia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Egídio Prado in the 92nd minute of the match. Diogo Barros's late challenge caught a EC Bahia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
