Dorime FC's Durval Duarte got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Durval Duarte got free with Fernando Fontes in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Mixquita FC's Fernando Fontes got control of the ball when Durval Duarte tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 14th minute, Adrianinho Souto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Adrianinho Souto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fernando Fontes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adrianinho Souto, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mixquita FC's goalkeeper Fernando Fontes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adrianinho Souto in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fernando Fontes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 24 minutes into the match, Dorime FC's goal looked a bit too open when Leonel Félix came free, but Afonso Carvalho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26th minute of the match Geovânio Brodel sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fernando Fontes skillfully saved the ball. Durval Duarte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jairo Vargas hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Adrianinho Souto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Adrianinho Souto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fernando Fontes. Mixquita FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adrianinho Souto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Durval Duarte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Fernando Fontes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marquinhos Soeiro hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Adrianinho Souto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fernando Fontes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. Durval Duarte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Fontes having to interfere. Dorime FC's Adrianinho Souto got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fernando Fontes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Durval Duarte, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. In the 79th minute, Marquinhos Soeiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 80 minutes into the match, Dorime FC's Geovânio Brodel broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Fernando Fontes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adrianinho Souto in the 81st minute of the match. In the 86th minute Durval Duarte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Fontes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Mixquita FC's zone, Adrianinho Souto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fernando Fontes came out of the goal and Adrianinho Souto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fernando Fontes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Durval Duarte in the 93rd minute of play. Adrianinho Souto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dorime FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Mixquita FC for a fine match.
