Spectators: 7173 (Terracing: 5413, Seating: 1660, VIP seats: 100) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Hamílton Goiano made the kick off which started today's match. If Cristóvão Marquez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Adhemar Tinoco fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mirantão FC's protests and gave Adhemar Tinoco a yellow card for diving instead. In the 6th minute, Adhemar Tinoco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Simão Quintal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Subaio's supporters rose to their feet, but Simão Quintal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luiz Fernando Dantas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 12 minutes, Ramiro Palmeira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Subaio and the Mirantão FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The long shot by Ronaldo Vieira in the 14th minute really tested João Couto's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 20thth minute of the game Cristóvão Marquez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mirantão FC's Luiz Fernando Dantas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 22nd match minute, Mirantão FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Allan Ramalho to maneuver through the defense. Simão Quintal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Luiz Fernando Dantas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luiz Fernando Dantas came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Subaio's Simão Quintal. But to his dismay, Simão Quintal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 30th minute Luan Barral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Couto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristóvão Marquez struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Luiz Fernando Dantas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Subaio. 37 minutes into the match, Mirantão FC's goal looked a bit too open when Simão Quintal came free, but Luiz Fernando Dantas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Cristóvão Marquez came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Subaio fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristóvão Marquez couldn't finish the play. João Couto made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Luan Barral sent off a good shot on target. If Cristóvão Marquez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Simão Quintal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Luiz Fernando Dantas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Luan Barral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Simão Quintal scored 1-2 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luiz Fernando Dantas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Nando Brito hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Simão Quintal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Luiz Fernando Dantas having to make a save. João Couto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luan Barral in the 72nd minute of play. In the 73rd match minute, Subaio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manoel Siqueira to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Mirantão FC getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Allan Ramalho hit a great ball. In the 87th minute, Cristóvão Marquez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Subaio fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Allan Ramalho during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Allan Ramalho hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Cristóvão Marquez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 94th minute, Hamílton Goiano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Subaio's Claudinei Teles couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 95th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Mirantão FC. Subaio played a much better game than Mirantão FC and deserved their victory. The Mirantão FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
