Spectators: 6669 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1669, VIP seats: 0) ROCKEFELLER TEAM's Beto Gonçalves started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Felippe Toscano in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tiago Cruz saved Goianapolis from getting behind. In the 6th match minute, ROCKEFELLER TEAM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristiano Pimenta to maneuver through the defense. After 7 played minutes Goianapolis got a freekick which was hit by Nilton Paraíba. In the 9th minute Beto Gonçalves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiago Cruz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tiago Cruz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Beto Gonçalves in the 13th minute of the match. A collision led to Goianapolis getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Manuel Penha hit a great ball. Tiago Cruz came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by ROCKEFELLER TEAM's Beto Gonçalves. But to his dismay, Beto Gonçalves quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adhemar Velloso during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in ROCKEFELLER TEAM fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 21st minute. Penalty! Emiliano Gilabert had in the 23rdth minute some difficulties stopping Celso Magalhães's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his right side, but he still managed to hold the ball In the 23rd minute, Goianapolis's Celso Magalhães dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. A collision led to Goianapolis getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Paulo Renato Domingues hit a great ball. If Felippe Toscano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Beto Gonçalves came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the ROCKEFELLER TEAM fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Beto Gonçalves couldn't finish the play. After 32 played minutes Goianapolis got a freekick which was hit by Délio de Lima. 34 minutes into the match, ROCKEFELLER TEAM's goalkeeper Emiliano Gilabert had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lenílson Schmidt. In the 44th minute, Beto Gonçalves left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ROCKEFELLER TEAM fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

ROCKEFELLER TEAM's Emiliano Gilabert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lenílson Schmidt in the 51st minute of play. Ernani Salgado's late challenge caught a ROCKEFELLER TEAM's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ernani Salgado helped the player get up and apologised. In the 55th minute, Ernani Salgado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Goianapolis's Lenílson Schmidt got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 59 minutes into the game, Felippe Toscano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ROCKEFELLER TEAM's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Goianapolis the free kick. Felippe Toscano hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. In the 62nd minute, Goianapolis's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Beto Gonçalves fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. With a little luck, Goianapolis's Tiago Cruz got control of the ball when Beto Gonçalves tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Manuel Penha fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Goianapolis's protests and gave Manuel Penha a yellow card for diving instead. After 67 played minutes Goianapolis got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Penha. ROCKEFELLER TEAM's Beto Gonçalves suffered a concussion after 70 minutes and had to leave the field. Paulo Renato Domingues's late challenge caught a ROCKEFELLER TEAM's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Paulo Renato Domingues helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 70th minute of the game. One of Goianapolis:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of ROCKEFELLER TEAM:s goal. Felippe Toscano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiago Cruz having to interfere. 80 minutes into the match, ROCKEFELLER TEAM's goal looked a bit too open when Manfredo Pimenta came free, but Emiliano Gilabert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Renato Meira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tiago Cruz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Renato Meira in the 86th minute. Felippe Toscano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lucas Vidal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. ROCKEFELLER TEAM played a much better game than Goianapolis and deserved their victory. The Goianapolis players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
