The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Diamantino Vinhas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. Roger Maciel scored 0-1 in the 5th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Murilo Couto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpected shot in the 9th minute by Diamantino Vinhas got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Pedro Luís Andrade hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Pedro Luís Andrade's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Murilo Couto was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. Diamantino Vinhas might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dinei Neves. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Diamantino Vinhas ran back to his position shaking his head. Ruilandia's Dinei Neves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diamantino Vinhas in the 22nd minute of play. Luizinho de Almeida recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 26th minute, Pedro Luís Andrade ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Murilo Couto was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After a rather tough play, Ruilandia's Vladimir Tinoco got a free kick in the 38th minute. In the 41st minute Pedro Luís Andrade shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Murilo Couto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Ruilandia's Abelardo Mandrak got a free kick in the 45th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Diamantino Vinhas to strike the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Bolhas Brasil FC got a freekick which was hit by Luizinho de Almeida. Murilo Couto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abelardo Mandrak in the 53rd minute of the match. In the 56th minute, Diamantino Vinhas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bolhas Brasil FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. If Diamantino Vinhas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 60 minutes, Diamantino Vinhas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bolhas Brasil FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Diamantino Vinhas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Diamantino Vinhas struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Dinei Neves didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bolhas Brasil FC. Murilo Couto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abelardo Mandrak in the 65th minute of the match. Diamantino Vinhas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dinei Neves having to interfere. In the 81st minute of the match Edinho Alves shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dinei Neves showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Diamantino Vinhas took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dinei Neves. Dinei Neves dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Orlando Sergipano kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Murilo Couto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abelardo Mandrak, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Gerson Fantini took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 92nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Murilo Couto. Bolhas Brasil FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 96 played minutes Ruilandia got a freekick which was hit by Vladimir Tinoco. Ruilandia succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Bolhas Brasil FC had controlled the match.
