Pixaim EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fernando de Barros was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Pixaim EC booed when Omega was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kiko Teixeira didn't get a good kick on the ball. André Luís Mello could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Iuri Cerezo made a huge save. If Fernando de Barros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. André Luís Mellos short, quick shot in the 29thth minute got Iuri Cerezo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the last second Iuri Cerezo throw himself and got hold of the ball when Fernando de Barros in the 38thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. When the match had gone on for 47 minutes, Fernando de Barros took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Iuri Cerezo to make any attempt to save it. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fernando de Barros was the one to do the kick off.
