Juan de Moraes's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 7thth minute, Murilo Couto skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a rather tough play, Bolhas Brasil FC's Tomás Simão got a free kick in the 8th minute. Wellington Velloso's late challenge caught a Bolhas Brasil FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wellington Velloso helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Hot Rod Sports getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Wellington Velloso hit a great ball. After having played for 20 minutes, Diamantino Vinhas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bolhas Brasil FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Diamantino Vinhas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Juan de Moraes got free with Murilo Couto in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Bolhas Brasil FC's Diamantino Vinhas in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hot Rod Sports's goalie prevented a goal. If Diamantino Vinhas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Diamantino Vinhas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Reis having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Diamantino Vinhas to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpected shot in the 52nd minute by Fabrício Salles got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The supporters of Bolhas Brasil FC booed when Hot Rod Sports was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elder Madureira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Diamantino Vinhas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Diamantino Vinhas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. David Reis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Diamantino Vinhas in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg David Reis saved Hot Rod Sports from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Hot Rod Sports's zone, Orlando Sergipano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. David Reis came out of the goal and Orlando Sergipano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hot Rod Sports's David Reis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diamantino Vinhas in the 88th minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Orlando Sergipano got away a dangerous shot. Despite this David Reis quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Bolhas Brasil FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
