The supporters of Kohutavadisk Käpardid booed when Xupetas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulinho Loyola didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 22nd minute, Valdo Motta left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kohutavadisk Käpardid fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 25 minutes into the match, Xupetas's Leopoldo da Fonseca sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tadeu Recife narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Vitório Matorin made in the 28th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Xupetas's Dieguinho de Sousa. When Davi Queirós fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Xupetas's protests and gave Davi Queirós a yellow card for diving instead. Davi Queirós hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Tadeu Recife didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jefferson Costa went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 43rd minute, Jefferson Costa made a precise shot to the right of Tadeu Recife. Kohutavadisk Käpardid's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. After 47 played minutes Xupetas got a freekick which was hit by Dieguinho de Sousa.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Valdo Motta to make the kick off. When the match clock showed 57 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Jefferson Costa sped through Kohutavadisk Käpardid's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tadeu Recife. A collision led to Kohutavadisk Käpardid getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Geovânio Mineiro hit a great ball. After 64 played minutes Xupetas got a freekick which was hit by Dieguinho de Sousa. The audience was convinced that Jefferson Costa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tadeu Recife was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. Geovânio Mineiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Silvério Lopez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Xupetas getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Paulinho Loyola hit a great ball. 74 minutes into the match, Kohutavadisk Käpardid's Hermínio Secco broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 78thth minute of the game Jefferson Costa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kohutavadisk Käpardid's Tadeu Recife was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Davi Queirós recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Xupetas's Ademir Dantas was substituted for Leopoldo da Fonseca. If Jefferson Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Xupetas's Diamantino Montenegro was substituted for Dida Faria. Davi Queirós fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tadeu Recife having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Xupetas's Paulinho Loyola got a free kick in the 93rd minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Xupetas fully deserved thier win.
