In the last second Thiago Leite throw himself and got hold of the ball when Valdo Motta in the 6thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Kohutavadisk Käpardid's Valdo Motta got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 10th match minute, Kohutavadisk Käpardid was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Charles Mello to maneuver through the defense. Cícero Miranda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 18th minute, Valdo Motta fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Thiago Leite, passed just outside the right post. 20 minutes into the match, Cícero Miranda notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Real Sociedad's Thiago Leite. Thiago Leite was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thiago Leite was a little too slow when Valdo Motta got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 23rd minute. The score was now 2-0. In the 29th match minute, Real Sociedad was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Josué Nunes to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot by Hermínio Secco from long distance, 30 minutes into the match, got Thiago Leite's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. If Cássio Peixoto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Real Sociedad's João Carlos Paiva got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cícero Miranda struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Thiago Leite didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kohutavadisk Käpardid. 42 minutes into the game, Geovânio Mineiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kohutavadisk Käpardid's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Real Sociedad the free kick. After a rather tough play, Kohutavadisk Käpardid's Geovânio Mineiro got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Real Sociedad's Thiago Leite proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Real Sociedad from getting a goal against them. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Valdo Motta stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 53 minutes, Valdo Motta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kohutavadisk Käpardid's supporters crossed their fingers, but Valdo Motta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jânio Koehler's late challenge caught a Kohutavadisk Käpardid's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jânio Koehler helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Real Sociedad getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Jânio Koehler hit a great ball. In the 58th minute, Jânio Koehler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cícero Miranda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. João Carlos Paiva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Tadeu Recife tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 68th minute, Valdo Motta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kohutavadisk Käpardid's goalkeeper Tadeu Recife, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With his leg Tadeu Recife managed to avoid a goal in the 81stth minute, when Real Sociedad's Jânio Koehler fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The supporters of Real Sociedad booed when Kohutavadisk Käpardid was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geovânio Mineiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fábio Montenegro kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Thiago Leite took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valdo Motta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 90th minute, Jânio Koehler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. João Carlos Paiva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 96th minute Cícero Miranda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Leite saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kohutavadisk Käpardid were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Real Sociedad for a fine match.
