In the 19th minute, Sebastião Pontes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Moisés Jacinto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Kay Pop tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Moisés Jacinto in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kay Pop prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cururupu SS's Kay Pop played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Doni de Almeida in the 31st minute of play. In the 31st match minute, Cururupu SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oséias Cearense to maneuver through the defense. In the 33rd match minute, SafarijoeSports was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastião Pontes to maneuver through the defense. Kay Pop took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Moisés Jacinto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Moisés Jacinto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Cururupu SS booed when SafarijoeSports was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastião Pontes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sebastião Pontes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Kay Pop tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 80th minute Adalberto Dantas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kay Pop saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Doni de Almeida blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kay Pop having to make a save. 87 minutes into the game, Adalberto Dantas recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Kay Pop. Adalberto Dantas showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. Moisés Jacintos short, quick shot in the 90thth minute got Kay Pop to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 95 minutes into the match, Cururupu SS's goalkeeper Kay Pop had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Moisés Jacinto. SafarijoeSports played a much better game than Cururupu SS and deserved their victory. The Cururupu SS players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
