Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Vivaldo Corrêa started the match with the kick off. If Vivaldo Corrêa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Remo Almeida fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Germano Sena having to interfere. The throw-in from Egídio Chaves in the 15th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Toltz Paulista's João Adolfo Fernandez. AA Serginho MZC's Germano Sena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvinho Rosado in the 23rd minute of play. After having played for 27 minutes, Vivaldo Corrêa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Toltz Paulista's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vivaldo Corrêa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Toltz Paulista's Vivaldo Corrêa got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. João Mineiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliseu Martins, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Eliseu Martins came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the AA Serginho MZC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eliseu Martins couldn't finish the play. Vivaldo Corrêa in the 35thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Germano Sena, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Vivaldo Corrêa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Germano Sena having to interfere. Remo Almeida might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Germano Sena. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Remo Almeida ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpected shot in the 48th minute by Vivaldo Corrêa got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The Toltz Paulista players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. AA Serginho MZC were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sebastião Simões to strike the kick off in the second half. João Mineiro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eliseu Martins in the 52nd minute. Germano Sena stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vivaldo Corrêa's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. Germano Sena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vivaldo Corrêa, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. After 63 played minutes AA Serginho MZC got a freekick which was hit by Conrado Vale. Luís Eduardo Batista hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. After 83 played minutes Sebastião Simões rounded Toltz Paulista's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Eliseu Martins managed to get in a good position for a shot. AA Serginho MZC's supporters rose to their feet, but Eliseu Martins was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. João Mineiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in AA Serginho MZC's zone, Vivaldo Corrêa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Germano Sena came out of the goal and Vivaldo Corrêa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Silvinho Rosado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
