Aílton Figueiredo came out of the goal in the 48th minute to try and stop a shot by Juventus FC's Nilson Perez. But to his dismay, Nilson Perez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Maurício Queiroz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 59th minute, Delfim Leão ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Enio Cearense was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. When Diguinho Lucas came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Juventus FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Diguinho Lucas couldn't finish the play. When Vágner Capixaba fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Juventus FC's protests and gave Vágner Capixaba a yellow card for diving instead. Enio Cearense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maurício Queiroz in the 70th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Caetano Valle managed to get in a good position for a shot. bubatoons's supporters rose to their feet, but Caetano Valle was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Enio Cearense breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. bubatoons's Delfim Leão got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Maurício Queiroz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 97 minutes into the match, Juventus FC's goal looked a bit too open when Delfim Leão came free, but Enio Cearense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 99 minutes into the match, Delfim Leão notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Juventus FC's Enio Cearense. Enio Cearense was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
