In the 4th minute, Vitinho Nogueira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Evaristo Rodrigues managed to get in a good position for a shot. S.E. Betteguense's supporters rose to their feet, but Evaristo Rodrigues was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luiz Eduardo Netto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ulisses Rocha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vicente Maia having to interfere. A collision led to S.E. Betteguense getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Vitinho Nogueira hit a great ball. 11 minutes into the match, Coracao AD's goal looked a bit too open when Vitinho Nogueira came free, but Luiz Eduardo Netto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 11 minutes into the game, Vitinho Nogueira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Luiz Eduardo Netto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Fausto Sampaio hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Ernesto Ferraz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 24 played minutes S.E. Betteguense got a freekick which was hit by Davi Félix. Duda Barbosa scored 0-2 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luiz Eduardo Netto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Hortêncio Teixeira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Luiz Eduardo Netto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Duda Barbosa in the 38th minute of the match. Luiz Eduardo Netto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Duda Barbosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Hortêncio Teixeira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luiz Eduardo Netto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hortêncio Teixeira in the 47th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Duda Barbosa to strike the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Coracao AD defense, Hortêncio Teixeira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luiz Eduardo Netto. The Coracao AD fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luiz Eduardo Netto should have stopped the shot. When Duda Barbosa came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the S.E. Betteguense fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Duda Barbosa couldn't finish the play. If Hortêncio Teixeira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Duda Barbosa in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luiz Eduardo Netto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Coracao AD's Luiz Eduardo Netto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Coracao AD from getting a goal against them. Vitinho Nogueira hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Hortêncio Teixeira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Duda Barbosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Luiz Eduardo Netto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luiz Eduardo Netto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hortêncio Teixeira in the 89th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Duda Barbosa in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luiz Eduardo Netto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. S.E. Betteguense played a much better game than Coracao AD and deserved their victory. The Coracao AD players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
