The audience thought a goal was coming when André Luiz Araújo got free with Luiz Eduardo Netto in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 15 played minutes Raúl Vaz could catch the ball where he stood relatively free a bit outside the goal and without hesitation he completed 2-0 into the left cross. 22 minutes into the match, Coracao AD's goal looked a bit too open when Raúl Vaz came free, but Luiz Eduardo Netto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 27th minute by André Luiz Araújo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the last second Luiz Eduardo Netto throw himself and got hold of the ball when Raúl Vaz in the 29thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Raúl Vaz took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Luiz Eduardo Netto to make any attempt to save it. In the 38th minute Paulo José Pena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Eduardo Netto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. S.C Parnaibense's Raúl Vaz got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. André Luiz Araújo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Eduardo Netto having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

Luiz Eduardo Netto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. In the 70thth minute of the game André Luiz Araújo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Coracao AD's Luiz Eduardo Netto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. André Luiz Araújo might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luiz Eduardo Netto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. André Luiz Araújo ran back to his position shaking his head. Raúl Vaz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Luiz Eduardo Netto having to make a save. When S.C Parnaibense's André Luiz Araújo in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Luiz Eduardo Netto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Raúl Vaz struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Luiz Eduardo Netto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for S.C Parnaibense.
