Aílton Figueiredo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raúl Vaz in the 12th minute of play. Caetano Valle's late challenge caught a S.C Parnaibense's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Caetano Valle helped the player get up and apologised. In the 13th minute, Caetano Valle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Raúl Vaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Raúl Vaz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aílton Figueiredo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, André Luiz Araújo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aílton Figueiredo. bubatoons's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that André Luiz Araújo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. André Luiz Araújo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aílton Figueiredo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. André Luiz Araújo scored 1-3 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aílton Figueiredo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Raúl Vaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aílton Figueiredo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from André Luiz Araújo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aílton Figueiredo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raúl Vaz in the 42nd minute of play. Aílton Figueiredo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olavo Aparecido in the 43rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in bubatoons's zone, André Luiz Araújo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aílton Figueiredo came out of the goal and André Luiz Araújo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raúl Vaz in the 46th minute of play forced bubatoons's goalkeeper Aílton Figueiredo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The bubatoons players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. S.C Parnaibense were winning 1-3.

The wind increased when Maurício Queiroz made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Caetano Valle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aílton Figueiredo was out of position in the 60 minute of play, and Fernandão Hermes capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Fernandão Hermes really showed his touch with that goal: 1-5. André Luiz Araújo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 64thth minute tested the skills of Aílton Figueiredo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Maurício Queiroz kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. In the 67thth minute of the game Raúl Vaz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but bubatoons's Aílton Figueiredo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, bubatoons's Dino Reis got a free kick in the 75th minute. Aílton Figueiredo made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when André Luiz Araújo sent off a good shot on target. In the 77thth minute of the game Raúl Vaz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but bubatoons's Aílton Figueiredo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 79th minute, Raúl Vaz fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Aílton Figueiredo, passed just outside the right post. In the 83rd minute, Raúl Vaz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Raúl Vaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With splendid footwork Raúl Vaz arrived in front of goal to shoot 1-6 by the left pole in the game's 91st minute. The bubatoons fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. S.C Parnaibense were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
