In the 6th play minute Diamantino Teles came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Ernesto Neiva. 1-0. Hernani Nunes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Tiago Rezende tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Revolution FC booed when 1500 Esporte Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gláuber Veiga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tiago Rezende didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hernani Nunes went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In a very dangerous position, a player in 1500 Esporte Club fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 18th minute. Penalty! When Laércio Secco fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored 1500 Esporte Club's protests and gave Laércio Secco a yellow card for diving instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Filipe Koehler during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After recieving a nice pass, Revolution FC's Aírton Netto tried to score from far away in the 32nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. If Hernani Nunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hernani Nunes struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Tiago Rezende didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Revolution FC. After a rather tough play, 1500 Esporte Club's Filipe Koehler got a free kick in the 39th minute. 1500 Esporte Club's Tiago Rezende played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Umberto Bezerra in the 43rd minute of play. In the 45th minute Hernani Nunes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiago Rezende saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hernani Nunes made a kick off. Tiago Rezende showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hernani Nunes in the 56th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in 1500 Esporte Club's zone, Hernani Nunes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tiago Rezende came out of the goal and Hernani Nunes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hernani Nunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Hernani Nunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Diamantino Teles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernesto Neiva having to interfere. Revolution FC's Ernesto Neiva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diamantino Teles in the 76th minute of play. Diamantino Teles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hernani Nunes struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. After having played for 90 minutes, Hernani Nunes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Revolution FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hernani Nunes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 91 played minutes 1500 Esporte Club got a freekick which was hit by Cauan Messias. In the 92nd minute Umberto Bezerra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiago Rezende saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Umberto Bezerra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Tiago Rezende tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The 1500 Esporte Club fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Revolution FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
