Alan Ortiz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laerte Moreno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Anjos Da Noite fans' excitement grew in the 25th match minute when Anjos Da Noite's Ambrosio Luix looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 32 played minutes Real Nazareno got a freekick which was hit by Mauro Cardozo. 41 minutes into the game, Kauan Ribeiro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Alan Ortiz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kauan Ribeiro in the 45th minute of play forced Anjos Da Noite's goalkeeper Alan Ortiz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kauan Ribeiro made a kick off. After 53 played minutes Anjos Da Noite got a freekick which was hit by Ambrosio Luix. Alan Ortiz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kauan Ribeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Anjos Da Noite's defense didn't have a chance, in the 61st minute, when Kauan Ribeiro scored to the left of an out of position Alan Ortiz, making the score, 2-2. A sloppy throw-in by Fidel Tirso in the 65th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Real Nazareno's Germano Amorim. Robert Arboleda was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 66 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Anjos Da Noite's Robert Arboleda got a free kick in the 67th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Mauro Cardozo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Real Nazareno's supporters rose to their feet, but Mauro Cardozo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alan Ortiz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 72 minutes, Giuseppe Baptista managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Anjos Da Noite's supporters crossed their fingers, but Giuseppe Baptista was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alan Ortiz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauro Cardozo in the 74th minute of play. With a little luck, Anjos Da Noite's Alan Ortiz got control of the ball when Mauro Cardozo tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 78th play minute Kauan Ribeiro came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Alan Ortiz. 2-3. Anjos Da Noite's Alan Ortiz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Anjos Da Noite from getting a goal against them. Real Nazareno's Murillo Marques played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilson Furlan in the 89th minute of play. If Bernardo Cardozo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Laerte Moreno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle sounded Real Nazareno left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Anjos Da Noite.
