Ernesto Neiva didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Paulo de Toledo went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Raúl Zonta kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Revolution FC's Aírton Netto got a free kick in the 36th minute. In the 37th minute Oséias Rocha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernesto Neiva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ernesto Neiva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oséias Rocha in the 39th minute of the match. In the 41st minute, Oséias Rocha made a precise shot to the right of Ernesto Neiva. Revolution FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. If Fabiano Custódio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Hernani Nunes made the kick off in the second half. Hernani Nunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. That made the score 0-3 in the 70 minute of play. With a little luck, Revolution FC's Ernesto Neiva got control of the ball when Oséias Rocha tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ernesto Neiva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabiano Custódio in the 74th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 76 minutes, Ernesto Neiva successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Revolution FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 81st minute, when Fabiano Custódio scored to the left of an out of position Ernesto Neiva, making the score, 0-4. In the 84th minute, Marcus da Silva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 85th minute of the match Mateus Sampaio shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ernesto Neiva showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 89th minute, Revolution FC's Bernardo Martins seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Bernardo Martins the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Revolution FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Bernardo Martins had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. When the match had been going on for 90 minutes, Yogut Club's Mateus Sampaio got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Ernesto Neiva. Fabiano Custódio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernesto Neiva having to interfere. The Revolution FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Yogut Club were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
